Flea Power is averting the Dell XPS for turning on
Flea power could be the reason of not turning on the laptop. Remove the AC Adapter connected to the system along with other external devices and follow the given steps:
- Turn the laptop upside down and remove the back cover with the help of screwdriver. Keep the screws safely as you will need them to lock the back cover.
- Place the back cover safely on a place and locate the connection of battery and motherboard.
- Remove the cable that connects battery and the motherboard.
- Also, remove the battery and and then turn on the laptop by pressing the power button for about 30 seconds.
This is done to drain the flea power from your laptop. Check if the problem is solved now. Connect the Charger of the laptop and see if the light is showing on it. Press the power button to turn it on. Now, you can place the battery on its place and lock the back cover.

Try to turn on your laptop while connecting it with the AC adapter without the battery. If it works then it indicates that the original victim is battery. In this case, you need to change the battery. If you have drained all the battery and the screen is showing completely black, but LED light is flashing in orange or red color. If your Dell XPS Ultrabook is still not turning on then make sure the power source is working fine or the AC adapter is working correctly. To check the Power Source, connect the charger of your mobile and see if it is charging.
